Welcome to my Classroom!
6 March 2026, 10:00 – 11:30
Future Learning Lab FLL 481
Carleton University, MacOdrum Library
In this session, join Stuart Murray and Research Assistant Maya Chorney for an introduction to “AI U: Literature of the Self in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” an experimental English course that integrates generative AI directly into core coursework—not as a shortcut, but as an object of critique. The course uses a sequence of scaffolded assignments that require students to work with and against AI. Together, we’ll discuss how deliberately designed AI-inclusive assignments can sharpen critical thinking, make authorship visible, and reframe assessment around process, mediation, and responsibility in the age of large language models.
